Tree Permits for the Portland and Vancouver Metro Areas

Most cities require you to have tree removal, and even pruning, permit. There are many variables on whether or not you need a permit including the diameter of the tree, the number of trees you are removing, your property type and where on the property your trees are located. In some cases there are replacement contraints added in to the removal process.

The permit process is usually painless. Most applications can be obtained online. We will provide an arborist report for our customers if needed and we will answer any questions a city forester may have.

Don't risk working on your trees with out a permit. And whatever you do, if another company offers to take a tree out without a permit, you will get caught. It's not worth the fine and the embarrasment.
